HELLO AND WELCOME....

I have posted a few similar post before this, but have got nowhere.

ProblemFrownGRAW 2)

Was able to play online with no faults, after patch came out, i was still absolutely fine, yet out of the blue, one evening, i get onto the connecting to server box, and it doesnt connect to anything!!!
I left it for a couple of days, kept trying, then it connected again fine!!

Then a few more days after that, sane problem, it just wont get past the connecting to server, and the hint tells me to make sure my connection is working poperly!!

Why has it just popped up mout of nowhere?!
So may people are having the same problem!...But there must be an answer!!

Any help what so ever? Ports, router, ANYTHING!?

Thanks A lot

OWN SAFE

I don't know what your problem is son, could be:
- virusses/malware eating up connection speed
- firewall note! even though the windows firewall may be turned off it still works, so clear the game and then turn it off....
- corrupt gamefiles somewhere?
- drivers messed up??
just a wild guess you'll understand. Maybe you could be a bit more precise and or try posting your trouble over at ghostrecon.net maybe one of the GRIN crew that still hang on there can help you

Hey, I've been having exactly the same problem (found this thread via Google). The game updated itself to v1.05 a while ago, been playing online for a couple of weeks, and suddenly I can't get past 'connecting to server.'

I can see what servers are online and the server info, I just can't connect.

I've rebooted my router and wireless adapter, checked my AV is allowing GRAW2 to do whatever it wants, and of course rebooted my PC.

It was running with no problems at all up until this morning.

I'm away to run a full system scan tomorrow, if it finds anything relevant I'll post it up.

Thanks.

PS. Sorry about the useless username, Ubisoft support set this account up for me a while back.

*edit* Full scan showed nothing, reinstalled GRAW2 plus patches, didn't help. I've also emailed Ubisoft. Something's a bit screwed up...

I have been having trouble getting stuck at the connecting screen while trying to join multiplayer. I have AVG free antivirus and since disabling the resident shield aspect of this software i have had no problems.

Yeah, im having the same problem, but there are a number of aspects that could be effecting you. You've probably tried them but just incase, here goes lol.

Make sure your firewall has GRAW2 set as an exception.

If you type your ip address into the URL of your internet browser, it should redirect you to your internet box router, if you know your password to get into it, login, and make sure that your IP address is put into the box which allows you to bypass the default firewall. (sorry i can't remember the name of the side link to get you to it, so just try lol)

Some people claim that repetetive computer restarting and connection attempts help, but it didn't for me lol.

Umm, well at least that something for ya, keep you busy lol and hopeful Wink

Good luck lads.

Mine says "server refused connection". Annoying. I think it is a GameSpy problem.
