Hello,
For most multiplayer games you have special dedicated server software packages for both Windows and Linux. I was unable to find any for Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 (GRAW2). Do such packages exist? If so, where can I download them? I've browsed through the website of GRAW2 but did not find any information with regard to setting up dedicated servers. If not, how would one go about setting up a dedicated server for this game, what are the requirements and where can I find a readme, containing answers to the following questions. - What are the server configuration variables? - What are the available startup parameters? - What are the hardware and bandwidth requirements? - What is the default port for a dedicated server? - Which query protocol is used for getting server information? - Which ports are being used and which protocol (e.g. port 4000 incoming UDP, etc)? Any information on this matter would be appreciated. Kind regards, Hans |

Hoi Hans ik heet ook Hans.lol
Anyway in case you're not dutch-speaking there is a GRAW2 server program, which you create by setting a dedi-server up at your normal PC, but you have to upload GRAW2 and the XML files to the server in order to play. If you want to use custom maps, upload them, to the server and copy the xml-file you reated on your PC. Good luck. Having more problems/this doesn't work? look at ghostrecon.net, more server-admins hanging out there. |
