i have that one and its a easy fix. mine was half installed and my pc puked it out lol. try to uninstall whatever got installed, run ccleaner and do an issues scan. delete all files that are related to graw even windows/prefetch/graw exe. do a search and delete what ever files comes up. goto regedit and click 'edit' in the 'find box' type 'graw'. delete the highlighted in blue reg key' in the right side panel of regedit.press f3 to search again(find next)and do the same thing as the first.press f3 till there is nothing left.
goto hkey_local_machine/software/ubisoft/ and delete the whole ghost recon advanced warfighter folder. exit regedit. reboot for registies to stick. put dvd back in it might say 'play' and not 'install' so do so and select play. you should see the files on the cd. there should be an "setup" in there so double click it and re-install. should be good to go. |

I got the same error, but right after I select the language. I tried the solution by unpredictabl3 but it still happens, and it's happening on both my PC and my Laptop!
Could this perhaps be a DVD related problem and not a PC problem? Could UBI perhaps look into it? Is that too much to ask for? |
