Hi I love this game especially to play all wonderful coop maps online.

But besides all the crashing witch I’m not even going to mention there’s strange things occurring from time to time.
I sometimes get an “error” message saying that “alternative game files found” and bacause to some risk of cheating I get kicked out of the server.

I don’t do anything more than download the coop maps and place them in the right folder, what more can I do to not get these annoying messages.

I don't know if it's important but here's my "rig".

Processor: Intel Core2 6400 2,13GHz
Ram: Corsair 2GB
Graphic: Nvidia Geforce 8800GTX
Sound: Soundblaster X-Fi Extreme music

Please help!

Magnus

the message is clear the server found different files on your PC compared to the server.
That could mean you have a mod somewhere (gunkit or so) that prevents you from joining.
So there's need to carefully look at your mods, keep em in the right place and if you need to take them out because the server don't allow them put them in a seperate folder in GRAW's maind directory.

Thanks a lot for the answer! It's very kind of you Smile

I have no "mods" downloaded besides coop "maps".

How can I sometimes play for a very long time and then suddenly get kicked out because of some unkown reason? Shouldn't the server know faster if I had any strange files?

And shouldn't the server know exact what files I have that isn't allowed on that particular server from the start?

This must be another bug in the system or?

I put all my downloaded "coop maps" in the folder called "custom_levels" and that is correct right?

Thanks again

Magnus

Then I think it's the server.....
You seem to have everything right, though I remember being kicked just because of custom maps too some times. Some custom maps use the same names somewhere that cause trouble...

Aha I see! Thanks again.

Then I suppose I just have to live with it and I must admit it's a minor problem compaired to all the crashing Wink2

Thanks!

Magnus
