What video drivers are you guys using for Nvidia cards on XP? Seems like the game starts up fine, I get to start a new campaign. All seems to look good, choose my stuff, then click begin and it freezes and I get a BSOD.
It says the error was from nv_disp and it was stuck in an infinite loop. Guessing my video card drivers aren't good for the game. For the demo I had 94.24 and the game ran really crappy. Upgraded to beta 162.18 and the demo didn't work at all any more. Uninstalled the demo, bought the full game. And its giving me the error listed above. |

1. the 3800 is single core?
2. 1 gig ram is barely sufficient, try getting another one in (you could try and kill background progs to clear up memory first) 3 SLI is known to give trouble, you might be better off with a single card. For full support see the thread on top of the graw section of these forums, full of links to hints and tweaks. Good luck |

Hi' I have the same mobo and cpu, 2+ gigs of Ram and using a EVGA 7950 GT OC and it works for me, although I had to download the latest drivers to get rid of a problem with the game shrinking to my desktop and had to roll back some of the video settings (within the game) and reset the image display to "let the 3D application decide(within the settings accessed by right clicking your desktop and going into the Nvidia control panel. I'd start by increasing your Ram. Its all very fine to spout dual core, but with socket 939 being discontinued, good luck finding one, let me know where if you do!! dgross32@telus.net
