Hi doktorkop, sorry I have not watched this yet as I have been busy with other projects.

Your movie comes recommended, so I will download the full version and watch tonight when I get home from work.

Fantastic Doktorkop!

I was moved by the whole film and the story, and my eyes even welled up a little at the end.

Your CGI work has improved immensely, so much so that I forgot I was watching an animation and was wrapped up in the story.

This must have been a huge amount of effort, thank you!

And thank you for showing there is still life and good stories that can be made with IL2.

Awesome Jobs!! Very well done doktorkop. Thumbs Up

I agreed with Joe-90 your CGI work has really improve twofold from your previous IL-2 CGI work.

Great cinematography and story.

I was wondering about the scene at 13:48 in your movie of the grave of Hans Schneider. It maybe it's just a fictional pilot...not sure.
Mini-research of him I come up with "Staffelfuhrer 10./JG5 Oblt. Hans Schneider" JG 5 had 4 Gruppen. I. and IV./JG 5 were stationed in Southern Norway, being equipped with the Fw 190's.

I was just curious Winky about the Luftwaffe pilot in the film...whether he was fact or fiction?

Anyway Great Job sir!

Best Regards

DoktorKop: Magnificent Movie!

I'm the little old guy who walks around demanding, "Where's the Beef???"...meaning, a movie without a 'Story' is almost always unsuccessful, regardless of graphics and action and sound FX and music, etc etc.....

Your movie hits the mark! An engaging story from the very opening moments, personalizing the story, incorporating history with an interesting, yet not overdone, twist...and bringing the viewers' emotions to the forefront slowly and subtly.... Well Done!

The perfect amount of narration (and helpful subtitling, which was a very thoughtful addition)… I could go on.....

The other skills you have brought to bear are likewise worthy of great praise...the characters/animation, the Mission building, cinematography...others will comment upon those, I am sure. I thought they were all superb.

PLEASE enter this movie into any/all machinima competitions of 2009…it WILL be a winner!!!!! It is, in my opinion, the first truly excellent ‘cross-over’ movie between the world of FlightSim movies and the conventional ‘machinima’ community.

I smell an Oleg….

Excellent movie Doktorkop.

I watched the Youtube version and will be downloading it because I liked it so much.

You made me care about the character from the beginning and the story line was believable.
