Please take a minute and have a look. It's a 49 second screen test called Kamikaze. As always, your comments are highly coveted, and appreciated

You can see it right here

If you don't mind me asking, how did you manage the perfectly smooth pan across to the right on the overhead shot of the city and how did you get through the streets like that? It looked almost as if you attached a camera to a car.

Hi Laz,

Nice picture settings, I liked the old cinema look you have created with certain filters. I thought the Battle ship noises were a bit excessive and I would have liked to see a view from the plane heading towards the ship, after all it is called Kamikaze Smile

Keep up the improving work Thumbs Up

Cheers

Ya know, I was thinking I should have done one or two cockpit shots. I also felt that the shots could have been closer. I'm going to revisit it.

lol, i just didn't get any close look at the plane at all, and the moment of impact wasn't "big"

it just seemed like a splash

Not bad Lazarus.

Watch out for directional continuity. Seeing the Zero coming from the left, then from the right, can be a confusing distraction to the viewer.

Hi, interesting sound effects, nice b&w filtering. Wink

Problem with IL2 ships are that all their aa guns flashes are 100% synchronized and thus not realistic. The other shortcoming of IL2 shown here is the perfect puffs of smoke behind the stricken aircraft and not a continuous stream of smoke as it should be. The trick for us moviemakers is to avoid these shortcomings by means of angles and zooms and whatever to achieve better realism..
