First of all Andrew Kramer and his tutorials are totally awesome!

Pigeon is correct. You can do most if not all of his tutorials with AF 7. The only different is of course is the new look and interface that CS3 and CS4 have.
If you look at all of Andrews older tutorials they're many of them done with 7 and older versions of AF.

You can download the trial version for free and play with it for 30 days.

Also you can upgrade to AF CS4 for $299.00 if you you older version like CS3, 7.0, & 6.0.

Oh wow, you made me an After Effects addict now!

I really didn't know the program was capable of so much cool things. For some reason I always had the idea it was only used for adding cheap looking explosions and stuff like that... LOL!

, well ive just downloaded cs4 trial version and its great, just gotta talk the boss (missus) into lettin me buy the full version lol
