I'm a mere casual IL2 player, but thought I'd have a go at making a movie. It's certainly nothing fancy(more for my own amusement), just some clips from a mission I flew a few nights ago, made using Fraps and Virtual Dub. Sounds by Vivaldi.

This is not a bad little mission movie.

However, all the fade to black short cuts were really distracting. Any chance you could change them to straight cuts? I'd like to see this again without that distraction.

I'll have a look at re-doing the transitions if I can find some time. Otherwise the only suggestion I have is to blink at the right moments and you might not notice as much!

A good bit of work, but I tend to agree with the fade outs. They have their place but I find that if your timing is good, a straight cut keeps the action sequences a bit more fast paced and adds to the intensity of the shots. I thought the shots with the static cameras were extremely well done however, I hope we can expect more movies from you in the future.

For first one that is very good; some good action shoots!
