Hello, I've encountered some problems with virtual dub when trying to compress a film. It gives me an error when I try to save it as AVI.

I'm using Dvix to compress
It says

Video compression error:The source image format is not acceptable.(error code -2)

I recorded at 1280*960*32
Any help?

hi lev,

you may have chosen a 'profile' in 'divx'-settings, which doesn't support this resolution.
try either a suitable profile or 'unconstrained' instead (you have to set-up the passes yourself then).
however, the error is pointing to the codec(-settings), not caused by 'virtualdub'.
