I have a lot of older Sonny video 8 Hi formats and Wants to transfer them to DVD
Annybody knows how this is done.
I also have picetures of a He111 shot down in the mountains of Lesja i Norway when it was still laying in the mountains.
I think I took the picetures around 1975
It is now restored and is locadet in Gardermoen museum

'hi8'/'video8' is an analog source (like 'vhs'), which has to be digitized before compressed with 'mpeg2' for dvd.
you need for example a grafics-card with 'video-in'... if you got one, then you have to playback in real-time, and capture it with your grafics-card (can be done with 'virtualdub'). there is also some external hardware (often more pro-wise), but which is most times a lot more expensive than a grafics-card with 'video-in'. however, you probably have to search to find one amongst the actual devices
