Well, it's a start

You have the tools now, and if you are serious about making movies then watch some of the best and you'll get some ideas where to go next.

Making a recount of a game mission is a place to start but the challenge is to make it look like a movie as opposed to rewatching a track.

One thing to definitely avoid is mouse panning.

Silly question how do i pan with out using the mouse as i would like to make as smooth as possible?

And i saw in a forum somewhere a list of tools to download for movie making but cant seem to find it now can anyone point me in the right direction please.

Get one of the tools here (mouse.emu)allows for smooth 'mouse' panning using the keyboard.

Oh and making movies is incredibly time consuming and addictive!

Your right im working now on a new one.
With the maps. Just want to make it as good as possible.
Anyway everything about IL2 is addictive.

Funnily enough, there's a sticky in this forum called 'Tools for movie makers, and other miscellaneous stuff'

The mouse emu Uther is talking about is a core tool for panning. Othere methods include the various camera locks on air and ground objects.
