I have Sony Vegas 7.0, all video obtained through a Dazzle USB device, some files about 2 minutes are a whooping 300 mb each..Help, Please?
Try using XVid codec to compress. I don't know SONY Vegas, but VirtualDub will compress using XVidcodec (you need to download both free from the 'Net).
You can also just use your Windows Movie Maker app which will also reduce the size of your imported AVI (Raw, uncompressed) or an XVid compressed AVI out of VirtualDub.
