I really hope 4.09 gets past beta soon to make more online servers compatible - especially now Oleg has confirmed BoB will be at least another year.

This should be included in the official 4.09 release. All final map files for summer and winter Slovakia were sent to 1C guys some weeks ago. Waiting impatiently for release too

I have seen the new post (2 Sep) from Oleg at the Banana Forum (1C Official Forum). Fantastic detail in the SOW aircraft,ground vehicles, trains, etc... I didn't see a projected SOW release date though.

Oleg has been quite active in his 1C room the last few days.

Totally loved the map , the shots were good but I think could have been so much more stunning if you had captured at a higher resolution as there were many shots were pixilation was evident

Did you have to compromise with resolution against stutters as this type of map can kick the hell out of your CPU or graphics card?

I won't comment on the cinematography and the like as I think you just wanted to show off that wonderful map, and I am glad you did.

In fact, I did no change in resolution settings in Fraps, except capture fps settings - decresed from 50 to 30. Dont know if this is the reason for pixelation appearing especially on the edges. In some cases, darkgreen-white colour transitions are predisposed to do this bug, seen on some captured video sequences. I didnt search for reason. You are right, this video was done mainly to show winter textures and country. The music is from fairy-tale The Feather Fairy (well known in Slovakia), based on The Brothers Grimm tale.

Awesome video, and superb work on the map. I also like the men jumping out of the truck and running for cover.

It would be nice if 1c would sanction a new release.
