No, I'm not talking trash or anything...but recently I have noticed a ton of "legit" players and its very annoying. Call me crazy, but I highly doubt that someone is legit if they're fighting in a certain pattern...hmmm...let's see, maybe like continuously shifting in a circles and substituting literally every single blow...Am I the only one to notice this? Just recently I've decided to go back to Naruto: Rise of a Ninja. I was ranked in the top 100s in Naruto: The Broken Bond, so I'm not just accusing people for the heck of it. I even faced off against the ranked #1 Hokage in Naruto: The Broken Bond and it was such a brilliant match, both of our health was so low we could both win in 1 hit. But then he wasn't even playing the way these "legit" players are. There's too many that play with this pattern and I really don't think its legit, especially when they substitute every single hit.

I can see what you mean, but at lest you CAN sidestep out of combos in RoaN. lol. I've found that at times, I'm faceing off against new players or people not very good at the game. I think most of the pros have gone on to Broken Bond, which is good for them, but I'll never understandw hy people like Broken Bonds battle system better, but that's another story.
Yeah, At times, I even have to wait a while to find a mach, and then half of the time, it's ageinst somone who does not now what they are doing, so it kinda makes me feel like I didn't really win. Still, I'm getting points. lol |

i have both and i like bonds better because the characters...there are more. i haven't really found any difference between the games fought system. but if Roan is easier now i may come back to get some achievements.

Don't get me wrong, Broken Bond is a great game, but the changed so much about teh combat that it's like a diffrent game when ti comes to fighting. That would be like if the made Stree Fighter IV, but changed the combat. All the hardcore SF players would bee complaining. At lest Capcom didn't change the fighst, Ubisoft should not have changed the fighst of Broken Bond. The only good think about Broken Bonds fights is the Tap system. |

I play multiplay on RoaN more than I do for Broken Bond becase I wanna get my rank up and 'casue I like the fighting better. It's still a good game, and has certain fighting system which beat Broken Bond. |

I would not say its sucks when compeared. Overall, it's a good game and the Tag Team fighting is awesome, btu the geniral combat suck. No counters You can't dodge a combo Slower reaction times. Since you can't do any of the above, your forced to subitute, which you can't do aginest Killer Combos, so if you miss-time it, you's F**ked and your oppenat gets to do a level 3 Jutsu. Which means that skill does not matter. I have been beten by noods 'casue of this, and it's very embarising, considering I'm one fo the best players on RoaN online, and I don't say that lightly. |

Have u played TBB? they don't have level 3's they go up to level seven. And wow one the best players on Roan huh? Whats ur gt and ur leader board rank I'm curious now.

The battle system in TBB is awful. They design it they way that you must take a full combo (You cant jump in middle of one neither Sidestep and also, the random down + B subs are somewhat impossible 1 of every 10 [You are dead by then] and if you try to make a sub or block, your opponent just grab you [HOMO]). The characters´s combos are totally unbalanced. The game was rushed and is full of bugs, the game freezes in online tag team making the screen black (Blind). Story mode bugs. Unlockable characters forcing you to play story mode (That´s worst that ROAN, 10 hours of garbage missions [Bring flowers to the old lady, WTH?]) And online competitiveness is really bad: The persons who spent more time is the best? NO! back then in ROAN, the best was the one who can not be defeated. |

I have to agree. The messed up the battle system in Broken Bond in ways which we have both said. You can see what I said in some of the privious posts. All it boils down to now is button mashing. I'm really dissapoted in Broken Bond since skill does not matter. It's good to see good players in RoaN though. |

Funny thing is TBB wasn't rushed. Ubi began developing TBB before Roan meaning Roan was the rushed game but yet Roan was still way better. Also TBB sucks so bad you can't sub down attacks, you can sidestep but if you do than you take the chance of getting hit before you can do anything if your opponent has a fast character which they usually do. Also the game is to bland I mean in roan everyone had different and unique playing styles but in TBB it's only a matter of speed and close range style. Boring

Also the reason why TBB sucks is because Ubi listened to all the noobs that complained when people like me and liquid and ANT J C and Mofovill and all the legends beat them by sidestepping to much and using alot of jutsus and so forth. I was the one of the few people to disagree with ubi's decision to remove side stepping and random jutsu uses I knew the game would suck if they did that. But everyone thought I was just talkin out of my azz cuz I was very reliant on Kakashi's fast chidori. But look I was right TBB sucks Ballz. And if the kids that are considered the best of TBB are the same kids I used 2 destroy in ROAN than u know something is wrong LMAO. But Hopefully Ubi can get it right with another Naruto game. Main reason why TBB sucks, no dlc, crappy graphics, same rage modes, same combos, and even crappier Jutsu cutscenes than it's predecessor. Ubi has let their community down after hyping up TBB so much.

That's how I see it. To be good at RoaN, you need to train and learn to be fast, counter and intertup your opponant. Since you can no longer do that in BB, all it boils don't to is who hit X-X-Y first. ¬_¬ BB is Naruto for noobs. The ONLY good think about the fights is the Tag Team Syetsm. That is well though out and a greta way to battle wiht friends on your side. Eveything else suck and it's really put me off the game. RoaN is for real players. I honestly belive that. |
