I have just purchased a used copy of Blazing Angels 2. I can't find the skirmish mode mentioned in the manual. Can anyone help please?

Yeah I was hoping skirmish mode is for single player. I have found it in multiplayer. but inorder to play it i have two computers loaded with the game, set up a game via LAN, and then do a coop skirmish game with only two players. it seems the game has no instant action or single player modes other than campaign. unless i'm wrong nd i hope i am. (I just got it two days ago)
