Can anyone please tell me how to successfully destroy the zeppeliner. I am aware that I need to shoot at the bay doors when they are open - but it doesn't seem to hurt much. How / what do I precisely have to aim at ??

After the bay doors open, you can see in each one of the bays, on one of the walls, a mechanism that looks like an engine part (presumably pumping nitrogen or something flammable anyway). It's pretty visible, it looks like a bunch of pipes and canisters. It's marked with the red triangle that is used for all objective targets, so it should be pretty easy to spot (you can also lock on it if it's selected, and you can select it). That's what you have to shoot.
