The online community playing this game is growing. You can pretty much find gamers every evening (US time zones) "blazing."

I have Xbox Live version I play on high def 32 inch tv and just finished a solo dogfight in Cairo, online, not five minutes ago. Gamers even showing up in the middle of the day, now. If you play online, you have all the venues your missions take you to in the off line play.

Online you can fight solo, or teams (Coop), you can do Coop camgaigns or Coop capture the flag type matches -- you pick.

When you use a favorite aircraft, with so many hours, you get the right to paint it and mark it the way you like. They have "Parade" design, et.al. You pick.

I can't tell you all the stuff you will love about this, but you will. Just buy it!

Oh, and with Xbox Live, you have a head set and talk to your team, or everyone else if in solo. The theaters are so big, sometimes a group of us just leave the dog fight and try to fly to the edges of the venue. This is particularly difficult in the Himalayas because of the wind and altitude. You need the right plan type and luck to get through the mountains and not have the wind blow you into rock and ice. So, talking to your buds on the mission -- you need this when they find the right passages through a mountain range. The terrain is cool in the remote edges, too, so there is plenty to see and do.

So ever time I try to find a game online, all it says is there are no available matches. I've been looking for games throughout the day, but haven't found anything yet. Am I doing something wrong or is there just no one on?

I was on for about 5 hours today. 2 this afternoon and 3 tonight. Pretty much someone is there most of the time. Or, invite your buds to play -- they always come. Or, just play an offline campaign until you see your buds log on, then switch.

This morning I found two players on at 9am EST. You will enjoy squad skirmishes -- teams dog fighting in the various campaign venues using either "early," "middle," or "late" WWII aircraft. The "late" modes are really peppered with experimental aircraft, at the time, and one sci-fi weapon.

presumeably x-fire is for PC users only? I have a PS3. The lobby design seems poor. I bought Warhawk and BA2 at the same time and played Warhawk non stop for a month because there you can find more opponents without trying.
Often there seem to be no servers. I don't mind leaving my PS3 running as a server when I'm not using it - but this is not an option that I noticed in BA2. If I start a game and leave it sitting there for an hour, eventually enough people turn up to play with, but either I'm missing something obvious or this is poor design. Anyone want to tell a poor PS owner how to find more online action before he gives up on BA2?
