kiwikeltic is my name on Xfire.Have had a few add us to their xfire programme now because of posts on here asking people to add us to Xfire so our list of people with BA2 is slowly growing which is a good thing.The more we add the more will show up as friends of friends to and that means more chance of being able to find someone online to play BA2.
this is the same as ba1 a thread like this was made many a time and the game struggled, online just did not kick of blazing angles is a waste of your time you want a game were u can see servers running and to be able to join a game in progress. just like ba1 we had lots of people on xfire and online still ended up dead.

I've tried to find online matches a dozen times over the last three months and only found 1 person on 1 time.

I've been playing the last several days online. It is unbelievably great -- dog fights, campaigns and capture the flag. The venues are dazzling and great chatter with the headsets and co-oping with your squad. Everyone seems to like Cairo solo best. But, my fave is coop, Rome. Knocking out those searchlight patrols with machine guns and cannons ..... plane parts exploding all over the place. Fantastic!
Also, maybe the game is just finally catching on, but there seems to be alot of people playing ... and from all over. Germany, UK, Australia, Canada, France, States (all time zones).
Can't answer PS3 specific. Game is fantastic -- buy it. Coops, solos, capture the flag -- all in campaign venues like offline. Change plane colours, planes, weaponry, structure, team quality, repair features, handling, et.al.
