i just beat the game too. in the first game u got to play additional stuff like ace duel and mini-campain missions where u could upgrade weapons and planes. but on part2 there seems to be no such things. to me that means that online play is the next challenge (and the main challenge anyway, missions are just for practice in my oppinion.)
After something like mission 4, I can't get any achievements. I have Ace for all but 1 level and have unlocked 97% of the planes. Why can I not get any of the achievements?
My problems were the single player achievements. I've just deleted my game file to see if that sorts it out.
Edit: This seems to have worked. I think the problem is that when you go back to replay a mission it messes it up. Either that or my cousin tried doing some cheats and it messed it up.

I have been having the same troubles sort of... on the PS3 I can not get reward # 38/50... I have posted a thred to this and no one has replied to it well except for me.. .lol Did you guys have any luck at all?
I did it on the Xbox 360, so I had an issue with the achievements thing, but they are the same as the in-game achievements that you were talking about.
I managed to get the achievements for it, but I haven't got them all because there aren't that many people playing online, so I have never played it online. I only did it because with the 360 you get gamer points for each achievement. Otherwise I wouldn't have done it. It didn't take me long to re-complete it though as I already knew what to do for every level.
