I am a big fan of BA1 for the Wii. I was considering purchasing the second game but wanted others oppinions of it.

I am a huge Blazing Angels 1 fan and bought Blazing Angels 2 despite the fact that this game had sci-fi weapon systems.
I was willing to over look that, and hope for the best. THE NEGATIVES 1 - Plane models were less detailed. 2 - Power-ups in multiplayer, that cheapened the experience. 3 - Game was built around rediculous weapons, and actually forced objectives with them. 4 - Music score changed from epic to cheezy. Techno? 5 - Where was the US aircraft? What other airplane game has done this? 6 - Ace Mode was gone, instead of being improved. 7 - Generic airplane upgrade system. Buy one item, works on all planes. 8 - Missions were not WW2 worthy, and felt like a "B" movie at times. 9 - Surface of levels although more life like then then the first, still looked horrible. THE POSITIVES 1 - A fully customizable airplane paint feature. 2 - Customizable HUD. CONCLUSION Got rid of it before I even beat the game. But don't take my word for it. The mass consensus on BA2 was that it stunk, and the sales of the game verify this (The numbers are rounded)!! 360 BA1 - 235,000 BA2 - 55,000 PS3 BA1 - 135,000 BA2 - 55,000 Faith Based Risk. |

Thanks for the info. another question, I use the Wii and PS2 systems, are there any other really good flight games that you have seen for these systems?

Don't have a Wii, so I can't help you with that. But with the PS2, you like Arcade or Sim style? Faith Based Risk. |

Ace combat series on PS2 is a good bet. They are alot better than any fighter game series out there.

I enjoy both arcade and sim so what ever you've got is good. |
