Will there be bosses (unique characters/personalities with unique special abillities/weapons/powers etc.)?

Looking at the gameplay video, they show the player starting out picking up his gun on the ground and then picking up the sword later on, so just having the ability to pickup weapons basically states that the game will have more weapons you can find. I just hope this game is mainly about pistols and swords instead of finding a SMG or something.

And in the gameplay video you see a mini-boss with that large weapon that had unique/special attacks and had to killed by heavy hits so yeah mini-bosses = bosses Big Grin.

I don't work for Ubisoft so I wouldn't know but yeah you can pretty much assume all of these things will be in the game.

Is money collected in the game while playing just used for move upgrades, such as the Lift move shown in the E3 demo? Or can you use this money for other RPG elements such as upgrading you characters Armor (like how the enemy has armor which can be smashed off).

As the game continues to develop will there be any gun and sword combos? For example you start a combo with the gun by shooting an enemy in the leg, then when when they are in the prone position you finish the combo with a horizontal sword slash (which because it is a combo causes extra damage).

It was clear from demo that if you shot an enemy in the legs they would fall to their knees in a prone position. While in this stunned state is their any moves you can do to do extra damage (like the throw moves you could perform on zombies from Resident Evil 4 when you shot them in the legs)?

In the E3 demo a move upgrade called Lift was shown which could throw enemies up into the air. Will their be any move upgrades involving elemental attacks such as lightning, fire or ice?

I know that you can evade around an enemy by pressing the A button, but I am not sure of all the details. Can you list all the possible evade moves.

I have a lot of questions! Big Grin

1. Is there going to be a survival mode? like a mode where you get a continuous stream of enemies to slash and shoot?

2. is there going to be any blood? looking at all the E3 clips I've watched I have yet to see any blood. even when you do an execution move like jumping down on top of an enemy and stabbing him it just looks like the sword floated through him with no hint of any actual damage except they stop moving...

3. is there going to be a realism mode? (like a mode where sword and gun attacks are 1-hit kills with the exception of the limbs for both you and your enemies) it would be pretty sweet! Smile

4. is there going to be a version of the game that doesn't have the Wii motion+ peripheral included in the box?

5. is there going to be local multiplayer?

6. does red steel 2 use the quantum3 engine for graphics?

7. will there be a collector's edition of the game?

8. what is more important to the dev team, smoother controls or better graphics/art style?

9. what did you get the inspiration for the art style from? (it looks familiar but I can't recall from where)

10. when I was watching the Ubisoft press conference I noticed that when they showed Red Steel 2 they had a camera on both the screen and the person playing but it looked like the game was lagging behind the persons movements by about 1-2 seconds. was that because of the camera or is it like that in the game?

11. at the beginning of the game when your being dragged do you have any control of how you move or is it completely controlled by the game?

well that's all I have for now! Happy

Check out the link to see what Ubisoft had to say about the subject of multiplayer in this game.

Ubisoft use an engine called Lyn Engine. Check out the quote below from IGN.

"We actually shifted to the Lyn Engine, which is internal Ubisoft tech. It's being used for a lot of projects and being developed across multiple platforms, but was originally developed specifically for Wii. We were able to start over with an engine that from the beginning gave us a real head start," said Vandenberghe. This, by the way, is the same engine powering the equally pretty Rabbids Go Home."

In the E3 demo a sword move upgrade called Lift was shown which could throw enemies up into the air. Will there be any gun move upgrades? Such as a rapid fire ability that targets and shots all enemies in front of you. Or a power shot that uses all the bullets in your gun and overheats the gun but causes a high amount of damage to any target hit by the power shot.

With the Wii Motion Plus used in the game, is there any way to stab an enemy by thrusting the Wii Remote forword towards the screen?

Can the motion detection used in the Nunchuk be used in conjunction with any other moves? For instance when you are parrying an enemy with a vertical or horizontal parry, could you you use the motion of the Nunchuk to forcefully push an enemy attack away? If timed correctly this motion push would cause the enemy to become stunned for a short time.

I have a few questions and more than a few suggestions but I'll limit them.

First, in regards to multiplayer, any kind of multiplayer would add longevity and replayability to the game, but it would have to be good. If you do not include a multiplayer game of some kind, I think this will be a big mistake and a shame. Most other FPS games have multiplayer, and I would feel cheated if I didn't get some form of it. The single player game MUST be substantial with a lot of replayabilty. Might I suggest working on the single player until its completed and you are all satisfied, and then creating a multiplayer mode using features from the single player?
For example, even some kind of survival or Boss Rush mode with online leaderboards. Or a simple duel mode, or quickdraw gun battle. That would be cool.

Also, I strongly suggest you include blood in this game. I understand you want to reach a larger audience and would therefore need to tone down the violence, but nobody likes fake sword damage. At least scratches and stuff. Even Goldeneye had blood patches on enemies and that was rated 15 in the UK.
