many users have seen the gamestop exclusive pre-order bonus for Red Steel 2 which suffice to say looks very sweet but there is something that I need to know:
what kind of code is it? is it a DLC code or a simple cheat code that can be re-used? I ask this because I hate Gamestop, they hire cheap labor that has no knowledge of video games (one cashier told me that Red Steel was coming out next week ) , they blatantly rip off their customers, and they always get exclusive pre-order game content bonuses which forces me to buy it there! and I'd like to know if I can buy the game from my favorite game store and get the codes online or if I'm going to be forced to buy it from The Devil Gamestop...
Yo Burito what's up? I got the 411 on the Gamespot deal. The Clerk at my Gamespot told me that it is out Feb 2010. Even closer that the anticipated March 2010. As far as the pre-order code, I have th einfo b/c I actually did it. The code is not DLC so any hopes of online content or multiplayer are in the dark right now. He said it is going to be a controller input code "a la Konami code" to get the swords, It would have been nice to get a new outfit or gun but two swords are still a win! Hope this helps.

thank god! (the one that I talked to today didn't even have any info on the pre-order bonus at all!) so that should mean that I'll be able to buy it from a better store and still get the swords!
"Over a 150 titles have a trade value of 15$ or more at Gamestop, power to the players". Every time I see that commercial I laugh, that's is not to generous, if you understand what I mean....
Tru dat Fender. I traded in like 6 PS2 games toward my Wii and only 12 dollars went toward it. It would have been better to sell them on Ebay. DAMN YOU GAMESTOP

that, the fact that they force you to pay $25 for a WM+ instead of the $20 everywhere else (when questioned about it a gamestop exec said: "that's just the way it is"), and the fact that they force their employees to use a BS debit card that charges a fee to actually get money from it really makes me hate the company...
That is why we have capitalism. You can pass on Gamestop and shop somewhere else if you want to. Atleast we have capitalism for now(yes, Obama we like capitalism).
