This is a thread where you complain and tell the developers what is/looks weird about the game and tell them to fix it. My personal complains are the bamboo you cut down in the E3-demo, the textures on those things looks so bad! The leaves and the wood needs better textures, and those bamboo gates needs to be fixed, it looks a little faked when they fall, other effects (lightning, reflections, etc.) looks awesome just a minor complain is that some objects does not have a shadow like those things "the heavy" breaks when he hits 'em, fix that! Also when he hits the ground (the part with the tree on it) with his hammer it looks like the wood brakes up (look at a vid, impossible to explain) and it looks very nice but after a sec it fades away, looks weird!

The only gripe that I can think of gameplay-wise is the way to open open doors. It looks totally impractical. I'd prefer something like taking/inserting batteries on Metroid Prime 3, twisting the remote and pulling/pushing and done. Add a little Motion+ magic and away with that cringe inducing slamming there is right now.

Well, I just talked to Ubi and they said that multiplayer is in full swing! I got to play a unreleased demo of the game and it was awesome. Life is so great. IF ONLY.

 . Do you think that if any new members join the blog and ask about multiplayer, that the five horsemen should dispatch them quickly and painfully  ? It should be common knowledge now even if these gamers are not RS2 fans that multiplayer is on the outs. PAY ATTENTION NOOBS |

Well just because you know it and allready have settled with it does not mean that others don't have the right to demand a Multiplayer component. We're not here to stroke Ubisofts balls, but to give them feedback on our oppinion, views and wishes. And you are in no position to tell others what they can and cannot want from RS2. If someone wants the dev. to know that he would like to have an MP in RS2, than he has every right to do that. Maybe making an official thread about Multiplayer with an original post that states the facts would help keeping new threads at bay. |

There are many threads dealing strictly with multiplayer and I'm sure that you would be able to find your answers if you just read a little. Don't think that the greatest five doesn't care about multiplayer. I am probably the biggest supporter for multiplayer on this forum, but we grow tired of Ubi telling us no. That is why we get annoyed by new bloggers who are completely unaware of the multiplayer situation.

Then why not make an official stickied thread about the MP situation? The topic is very popular wich you can see from all the new members asking about it.
Just make an official thread with the official statement and redirect all the discussions about Multiplayer in there. Even if there won't be a MP (shame on you Ubisoft)this would at least cut down on all the new threads, while still giving people the chance to talk about why there isn't a MP where there really should be one. |
