The PS3 just passed the Wii for September for the first time because of their price drop and an unsaturated market. The Wii could use more features and games to improve sales. The price drop, NSMB Wii, RS2, and an assortment of other titles will help sales and the PS3's success won't last long. The Wii Shop Channel had to attract customers and a demo service would likely do the same.

I guess, but that prolly won't happen, and if it did, do you think it would be for free?
AND THE PS3 is ahead because of the price drop and Uncharted 2, soon Ratchet and Clank. Probably not the motion control dildo.

The price cut can only keep them ahead for about a month or two and I don't think that they will have prolonged success with the PS3. I would think that a demo service would be free just like on the 360, PS3, and ds.

Why are we talking about the PS3 and the sale spike?
About the demo play... yeah unless Nintendo does not give 3rd parties a plattform to release demos on it, we won't see Demos.
Ubisofts reply to your email, is just a nice way to say that they would do a demo, but Nintendo does not have the system in place to offer demos over Wifi connection.

They could offer demo discs(like on the gamecube)coming with another Ubisoft game or possibly with NSMB Wii. The 360 has demo discs and I don't see why Nintendo shouldn't share us the same amount of love.

Its just not doable in a scale that would actualy make the effort worthwhile. Demo discs are a possibility yes, but they would make more sense to be released with another game (raving rabbids for example)

Seen the new wifi-ambasador promotion? Has nothing to do with demos but if you help a friend get online with their wii both will get 500 Nintendo-points! Too bad everyone's already got a wii...

I know, we finally have Club Nintendo but how come we can't have all the goodies? America has really helped Nintendo grow into a worldwide company and we don't like to be left out.

Yeah? In my country (Sweden) we don't have club nintendo at all! But German has it, france too....this is a really good reason to start world war 3 you know?

Hopefully all the animations look acceptable by launch, which seems like it's never coming.
