Wow thats crazy !

I mean how many rounds can your fire this way until your propellor is done for ?

Not much thats for sure.

Not many! Too Happy As you might imagine, like any rotational body spinning at high speed, a prop is quite sensitive to balance. I'm quite surprised and impressed this one did not come apart.

It has been known that on occasion the bullets were deflected straight back at the pilot.

That was the invention made by Roland Garros

They built a new park here with an overlook of the Cuyahoga River. The Cuyahoga is (in)famous because between 1868 and 1969 it was so polluted it caught fire on at least a dozen occasions.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuyahoga_River

They've cleaned up the industrial pollution, but lazy jerks still throw their trash in the river

They built a bridge you can stand on that is at the top of the gorge

And a few shots of the deeper section of the river

I see the USA is not immune to autumn. Big Grin
Looks very much like my area here except for those rocks.

So Celeon's dad bought himself a new car yesterday. Its a Opel Corsa-D.

He did not want the electric windows, he did not want the air conditioning and prefers the classic roof window ..., You know how it is. Roll Eyes

For his generation these are "...all nothing but toys which are fun but are not necessary for driving and are basically just one more piece that can break down and then costs a lot of money to repair" Roll Eyes

Luckily the D version comes with all that by standard so he had no choice to throw it all out. Big Grin

9 weeks of waiting time for such a small car because of that "cash for clunkers" which overfilled Opel's order books.

On our joyride to test it, we came along a "slightly" bigger car Blink

Big Daddy huh ? Too Happy

If i would have my very own oil well, i would buy me such thirsty V8 monster with 500 hp too. Big Grin

Wow! That's a sharp looking car Celeon. Way to go! Thumbs Up Clap I really like the contours and those headlights. Big Grin
I'm the same way about fuel. I was looking at an F-150 when I bought my truck but didn't want to get a V8 so, I chose the V6 Ranger. Still, a big engine for a 6 cylinder but a bit more fuel efficient than a V8.
BTW, that IS an awesome Lincoln. Winky

Yeah thats one huge battlecruiser !

Surely not easy to find parking space for it. Big Grin It still misses some decent whitewall tires though.

I believe it is a Lincoln Cosmopolitan from the 1950's with several modifications on the body (smaller windows)

Beautiful car ! Thumbs Up

we knew they were going up a while ago from how things were going... but it definately didnt stop me from getting this:

my 2009.5 G8 GXP - has 430hp. makes M3s and M5s look SILLY... at half the price. but only gets (depending on how i drive) between 15 and 20 miles a gallon... thankfully when im driving back and forth to work i put 12 miles a day on it... its the weekends that kill me.

They are the lead sponser.

My favorite yorkie came close to dying. First vet did a poor diagnosis and wrong treatment. She was probably an hour away from death when I took her to another vet. Her lungs were filled with fluid, toally unresponsive and enlarged heart. My favorite dog, so vet gave it a try. The vet even stayed 4 hours past closing on Friday working on her....and saved her. She'll be on heart meds from now on, but what a vet, even donated her time and meds. Nice to know such good people exist.

It's very comforting to know that there are special people out there who are willing to go that extra mile to help our faithful friends when they most need it.

Below is mammies boy Dylan the Lhasa Apso family pet, 12 years young, we tend to keep him cut short seeing as he is a house dweller.

Despite the fact his father was first in breed at Crufts in 95 and his grandfather supreme champion in 84, we have never shown him or bred off him (the latter I sometimes regret.

Wouldn't swap the little bugga for all the money in the world (the wife wouldn't allow it) LOL.

All the best to you and your good wife in the future.

That is truly a heartwarming story Wolfe. I have always loved dogs and it's encouraging to hear that there are others who let their light shine in such a way. I'm also gald to hear (more than you'll ever know) that your dog was spared and is now doing fine. Imagine what the world would be like, if everyone gave of themselves (selflessly) like that veterinarian did. Clap

We have many show dogs, she is the only pet, but my favorite. We went to our vet, but he wasn't there and saw the other one in. He was just fast and said her trach had collapsed, didn't do an xray. The actual steriods was the worse thing to give a dog with an enlarged heart. Course it was almost closing time.

I was rather shocked when the other vet said she listened to her airway and it was totally clear and thought it was her heart. Her lungs were so filled with fluid she couldn't even hear her heart....how'd did the other vet miss that.

Not to be mean to our vet that wasn't there, but they're partners and because of that idiot, they've lost our business.

She could've easly charged us another $2000.00, but only $800.
