I cannot post it here as the picture is just too wide so i'll provide the link instead.

The discovery of LSD by Professor Albert Hofmann as comic Big Grin

He died on 29.April 2008 at the age of 102.

His book "LSD My Problem Child" is a fascinating read. Thumbs Up

Especially his views on LSD having the potential of healing autism and mental diseases aswell as activating sections of the human brain which are normally inactive.

The astounding results of experiments with spiders are also surprising and fascinating at the same time.

Mine for today

Mommy (Or is it daddy?) supplies her/his little baby birds with crunchy bugs and juicy worms.

Judging by the noise, there are about 6 hungry baby birds inside.

Celeon's best friend is also there, enjoys the warm weather and communicating with the birds on the nearby trees.

No bird family in that other house ....yet.

Even on the bunker balcony, Celeon is having his vigilant eyes everywhere...at all times Shady

Suspicious movement on the trees ? Shady

I still remember how one of the Silent_O's femme fatale agents tried to install that surveillance camera Big Grin

Celeon I am not sure if you are aware of the Weaver bird.(Freddie will know it)

It is an african bird and the male will make intricate nests through the weaving of grass. Once he has made it the female will inspect it and if she does not like it he has to start all over again. It is not uncommon for the poor male to make 3 or 4 nests. The entrance to the nest is always made facing towards the ground to try and prevent snakes from entering.

Yeah i saw a documentary about them.

That poor male worked hard to build a nest and the female was shortly inspecting it......didnt liked it...and then cut the grass and made it fall down.

He looked like : Sad Eyes And started building a new one right away. Veryhappy

Thats so mean. Big Grin

@ tomory2007 - I'm afraid not, although I understand it has some stunning scenery. The nearest I have been to there is Egypt - where my girlfriend at the time got kidnapped! Eek

Yes it had lots of clipping errors, crash bugs and a steering which made it horribly difficult to aim . Big Grin

Yet it was tactically challenging and had nice graphics. Thumbs Up

Remember the mission in which you had to steal this baby ?

Celeon I just finished watching a documentary about the me321 super-cargo glider. Its amazing how much a glider made with primarily reinforced ply-wood and steel tubeing could carry. Have you seen one?

that is some wingspan.

Just look what Howard Hughes achieved with the Sproose Goose. Wink2 Its also just made of wood.

I've found some pictures of the Me321 in my giant bunker archives.

Glider version towed by a He-111 Zwilling (Twin)

Version with engines

But my personal favourites among wooden gliders are the designs which the Horten brothers proposed for the invasion of Britain.

They've tested small flying wings and had worked out blueprints for giant ones which could lift more cargo than any conventional glider design to airlift more equipment and soldiers to Britain than on the seaway.

After the invasion was indefinitely postponed, the Luftwaffe lost interest in their work and picked it up again much too late when they proposed jet powered flying wing bombers and fighters.

In anticipation of the Berlin air show, Celeon bought himself a 4 GB SDHC card for his Canon Powershot A630.

Good for 1550 photos at the highest resolution or 34 minutes of video. Thumbs Up

Just 7€ Thumbs Up

... That's the future of this thread assured then Veryhappy

It's quite remarkable at how much the price of digital camera memory has come down. My first digital camera had a I think a 64mb card in it and I thought that was HUGE!

Mine for today. Attended a childrens party this afternoon. The 'neighbours' at the bottom of the garden are a little too close to comfort - a German WW2 Minesweeper!

The fluttering flag looked better in real life sadly!
