We've decided to do it again, so feel free to ask any questions to the developers related to the upcoming patch or the add-on. These questions will be collected and sent to the developers. There is only 1 major bug that well, bugs me. The battery capacity on the Gato/Balo classes seem way short of historcial standards. I have read that Subs have spent 36 hours at 2-3 kts under the surface, but in the game I can barley stay under for 13 hrs at 3 kts. Will you be fixing this bug in futer patches?

Will the 'Strategic Warfare' and 'Heroes' features also be made available to SH4's existing USN fleet boat campaign, or just the new U-boat campaign? What other additions, if any, will be added to the stock game's USN fleet boat campaign?
The Type XVIII U-boat never went into active service. Does this mean the new U-boat campaign is based on an alternative history idea, similar to IL-2 1946?
Will it be possible to modify the add-on to recreate the U-boat campaigns in the Atlantic and Mediterranean? If so, to what extent? Would the Type IXD2 and Type XVIII be the only playable U-boats? ...Or will it also be possible to add mods for other playable U-boat types?
Is there any possibility of another add-on, if this one is a success?
If you were paid one Dollar for every minute of sleep lost during the very long production days of Silent Hunter 4, how rich would you be and what would you do with the money?
are you going to fix the bug that puts me outside the coning tower when using the 2cm flak gun and why can I shoot the japanese sailors in the water like Mush Morton did.
Will the add on include more freindly and enemy carriers. Will all the buttons in game be the same as in the instruction booklet(i don't know about you, but there isn't a firing at long range button on my game). Can you include more types of torpedoes( and will you). Will you fix the part where destroyers try to ram you? (or is that supposed to happen). Can you make put the expansion pack into version 1.4, or at least part of it? If not, what about version 1.5, if there is one ( which I hope there is by January 10). Can you increase the height at which the free camera will go by 10,000 feet? Will you fix the bug that causes the free camera to constantly go up/down without you pressing the controls( you hold the control down long enough and it will do that). Will you fix the bug of the depth charges sometimes going through the sub? Will you fix the bug where the characters keep saying the wrong thing or something over again over and over and over? Can you play as a Japaneese in the expansion pack. JPalm1
Before SHIV came out back in late March there was some talk about the Devs possibly making DX10 patch for the game. With the new DX10 games coming out such as Crysis and COD4 amongst others coming out in the near future, I'm wondering if there will be a DX10 patch for SHIV?
I have on several occasions now had the game get progressively slower. One of the symptoms is that keyboard commands fail to work or seem to be stored somewhere for a few seconds before they do. I have noticed that if I hit a key and nothing happens i may hit it several times. The game seemingly delays dand delays until there comes a point where you haveto wait for all the commands to clear .... Is there a memory leak?
This seems a serious issue. The displays by te way run realtime but geting things like the periscope to come down or up and firing a torpedoe. The other thing is at a certain point the lock feature deosnt work.
I really think this is a memory leak as it is only after and hour or more of play that this begins to occur.

are you the devs planing on fixing problems that modders have deltn with (repet mission ) ? how important do you think bringing u-boats into the pacific theater is to this game ? What was your insperation to do so ? Do you think that ubi rushing games out unfinished & untested is good practice ? Willl ubi continue on this path or will they strive to make better complete games ? lastly thank you the devs for continuing to make silent hunter .
