I havent't written much in the forum, but usually checks it everyday (been doing so since Sh3 came out), but I must wholeheartedly say that .

If we don't see a patch (or two) can I sue for the cost of the game, new video card and a new power supply? 'Cause that's what I've invested in this unstable, buggy game (which otherwise shows such great promise).

And further; I won't even buy sh4 until I hear from a reliable source that it functions as intended.

I'd help support you guys, but I didn't buy SH4 for exactly this reason. With their track record for SH3, I knew Ubi would release a lemon with SH4.

Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.

The worst thing you can do to customers is keep them in the dark, especially with such a devoted group as we have in the subsim community. Devotion has more than one side, we have stood by UBI and supported their products and all we expect is that they stand by us and make good what they promised to deliver in the first place.

Again can I just stipulate that the moderators and SH4 Managers and Community Managers all have SH4 and we also want the game patched to ver 1.3

We are also lobbying Ubi-soft for the patch and we are also doing our best to get a reply.

I personaly now do not play SH4 becuase I HATE the way my career self terminates with a retirement to a desk...sometimes with MPs' assisiting ! this to me is crazy after I have sunk 16 ships on a patrol...etc.etc

So I am in full agreement to any action as long as its civil, to get ourselves heard with an earnest view of getting our patch ver1.3 out.

So again but please keep this petitioning, lobbying and protesting as respectful as possible to the Devs and Ubi-soft in General. I should imagine with so much activety on this forum and over at subsim that a reply at least will >>??at some time??<< be forth coming from Ubisoft.

Keep the flag flying.

1] I do not think that anybody who turns out C*** like SHIV in the first place is capable of ever fixing the game to an acceptable standard no matter how many patches the game needs in the first two months of release in order to play it!
2] I think most people who played SHIII wanted the new version set in the Atlantic anyway! Ubisoft just went for the American buck!
3] I gotta say that patch 1.3 may be quite sometime in coming as known issues with the game will be harder and harder for them to fix.
