I 100% agree with the Monk. There is no support. All of us who post are the tech support.

The problem I have is that I've played RS since it came out on the orginal PS (i think) and I'm having trouble thinking of another game that's comparable for tactical & character setup. I'd be happy to buy another maker title if someone can tip me off to what it would be.

Anyone else feelin the same love?

The majority of bad UBI support keeps coming from UBI Montreal specifically. They are now doing damage control trying to fix FarCry2 so wouldn't be able to fix Vegas 2. The majority thinks Farcry2 has decent singleplayer but multiplayer was an unfinished afterthought. The people playing multiplayer dropped to 1/10th of its initial volume after a week...much like Lockdown, Vegas, and Vegas 2 did.

If UBI continues to release unfinished and buggy multiplayer games then the early death of the games will continue.

Neither myself nor any member of my clan has bought a UBI product since Vegas 1.

Call of Duty series has been a nice alternative for us. You just have to run your own server in a tactical format. It does the trick

I actually gave up on Ubisoft doing anything months ago. but I still hang around to help a new player once in awhile, and to help express our displeasure with Ubisoft!!

Our entire gaming group has turned to COD WaW, and many are now playing Zombies with many of the Zombie mods and maps.
That certainly isn't tactical, but it sure has drawn a big crowd a present.

I prefer tactical, but I guess Zombies is a fun change .. and you can create your own maps and mods.

I've been wanting to get Endwar but being the now smart consumer I've been examining their forums. Their Theatre of War is a mess and in sore need of a matchmaking system. They have game-ruining bugs and glitches that have units disappear, you lose complete control over them, or units get de-ranked.

It's a real shame too as I loved playing the demo and it all looked quite promising to me. Oh, and have you guys seen the Q & A video on Far Cry 2? Funniest thing I've ever listened to ever.

That anything will happen is probably wishfull thinking but I'm not giving up for the simple reason that this thread hurts Ubisoft. This thread is the perfect example off Ubisofts lack off support and quality. This isn't only about Rainbow Six Vegas 2 but this is for ALL Noobiesofts games!

Typing this took me five minutes, so I see no reason to give it up.

I'm an old time fan of the R6 series but Ubisoft destroyed it completely. That they make games for the masses is one thing, I wouldn't care less, but that they destroyed a very good game for more profits makes me angry.

They forgot that they got big releasing good games, they had a good fan base with the original Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six games. Now they only have an angry mob off gamers. And then they complain that people download their games instead of buying it!

At least what most of us have known is finally confirmed OFFICIALLY. And any hopes that a fix was in the works has now been put in the ground and buried.

For that I thank you Ms. Kleaneasy. For the record I don't have anything against Kean - she's just got a crappy job and seems to have taken the mantle of community manager by default since our real one could never be bothered to give us the time of day.

Steal their games? They aren't even worth that. I just rent them now on a console. Until UBI makes something worth owning, they won't see a dime of my money. Secondly, why download it on PC? It's a given by their lack of quality and broken releases that any of their PC versions aren't even worth the disk space.

Now if they released something that actually WORKED relatively bug free... However I can rest assured given UBI's track record the last few years - THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN.

I truly believe that if Ubisoft had taken the time and effort to release Vegas 2 as a fully finished game, and provided support and commuication after release .. It COULD have been among the best games of 2008.

Maybe we can all derive a little satisfation in the fact that our efforts here, (and Ubisoft's lack of) have come home to roost in the studio of Ubisoft!!!

Interestingly .. 2 of the best picks, Fallout 3 (Bethasda) and Left 4 Dead, (Valve) are on the PC .. a platform which Ubisoft claims isn't worth their time!!

Maybe Ubisoft's payout to Gamespot wasn't large enough this time around to put them in the spotlight!!

Can we talk about UBI stealing from us? I'm still waiting for a refund of ~$150.00 for Lockdown, Vegas and Vegas 2. All 3 were unfinished.
