Ubi support is a joke. Half the time you email them they send you here to get help from us because we know more about the games than they do.

To (waste your time to) submit a support ticket, you need to log out of Ubi.com and the forums and then login to the support site.

I was playing last night and then my comp. started freezing up and I had to reset it. Then I could not log in anymore....
22 hrs later and master server still not working yet. This is ridiculous....!
it seems that this happens every 3 weeks and it lasts 2 days...
If it is programmed maintenance, it would be nice if they let us know beforehand.
arrrgh!

Just a FYI I am aware of this and looking into it, I'll post back when I know more. EDIT - I've just been informed the FC servers were also down, they're coming back online so I would imagine the R6 ones will follow but will let you know if I hear otherwise

Yep, the Far Cry servers were down, and so were even the Settlers ones, presumably all the games that use the Ubi.com servers were, but the Settlers ones are back up now, so I would imagine the rest are by now.

Not odd, I don’t work Wednesdays and while many days I don’t work I still do cover the forums to some degree I do make a point to spend one day a week totally away from the board. It was just unfortunate that was yesterday and when the servers went down However I would add that the forums are not a support service, but rather a place for gamers playing the games to meet and talk about the games, and whilte that will involve a degree of support between players its not a substitute or replacement for tech support. Ultimately any issues like this should always be reported through the tech support site  .

Hi,ms-kleaneasy i have in the past for one contacted tech support but not had a reply apart from the automated if you do not reply will will assume the matter is resolved,that does not help anyone does it? so my suggestion is that if ubisoft need to perform planned work on the server and it's going to be down such a long time then they should make this public knowledge so at least we know what is happening,it would certainly improve customer relations,they could put notice of this on their main site or even in game instead of ads for movies,do you think that this is at all possible?

Usually we do post announcing planned downtime, I didn’t hear anything about this so I suspect (although not sure) it wasn’t planned. I know tech support isn’t perfect and situations like the one you describe can be frustrating. All I can say is if that happens come to me in PT on the forums with the ticket number and I can take it directly to the tech support boss who can not only ensure your issue is addressed but take note that it wasn’t resolved appropriately to begin with

Yes, all of the Ubi.com games were down as far as I can see. SCCT, SCDA, FC, Settlers, R6V, R6V2, and RvS.

sver down again since 10mins ago,there should be a better way to connect players together than having to rely on the server based in canada,also having to have a fastpath connection to play it without lagggg
