First off, I personally love RB6v2 and everyone I show it to has shared this sentiment.

But more importantly, it will not install in Windows 7 64-bit(build 7600). When I run setup.exe on the disc, it says "This version of the file is not compatible with the version of Windows you are running...check to see whether you need an x86 or x64 version of this program" blah blah blah. I figured this might be an issue with this specific computer but its happening on my laptop as well (running the same version of windows).

Also I am using daemon tools to mount the rbv2 image and it has worked in the past in windows vista64/windows 7 RC. Any fixes?

Thanks for the help...any out of curiosity..are there any other games like this out there? I am amazed that rb6v2 is like the only tactical shooter of its kind.

It's installing right now on my RTM version of Win7 x64.

I did it through autorun from the disc, so try that.

Update: mine just installed fine. Detected Win7 as Vista Pro, though, which was a tad weird.

I fixed it... it was a bad image file or something, I had two of them and I was using the wrong one.
