I hope they will sort out the way you get weapons and health

so firstly
You will start with so many weapons and have to find more if you want more!!

and secondly
You should start with full health AND full Armour (if your character is wearing armour of course)
and if you find a health pack then you should have to wait 15 seconds before the character has finished using the medkit/health pack (which would make you think - shall i risk being seen by the enemy and lose all of the health that I have just collected - or shall i try to kill the enemy first and then use the medkit/health pack)

i think this is initially an interesting idea.

but you also have to take into consideration the type of ammo you are being shot with.

i am no expert in ballistics or penetration but i think a 7.62 would tear through kevlar and kill the enemy with 1 bullet to the chest.

unless of course you consider adding SAPI (plates) to the vest, then you should be able to absorb a couple high powered rifle rounds and your regen health would make sense (but i dont think you should recover the full amount of your health pre-shot, just recover "most" of the health you had prior to the shot)

but after 2 or 3 rifle rounds, the SAPI is compromised and no longer will protect you. and of course the "regen" hit box is only as large as the SAPI plate itself (which is not that big, just enough to cover your vital "center mass" area)

if you were hit in the lower abdomen or through the spine, that should be a 1 hit kill, or knock off 90% of your health, something like that.

and if we are going to introduce realistic body armor, we need to have a realistic effect of weight vs. mobility. the armor vs. mobility in vegas is not extreme enough to warrant using it (its nearly useless, especially when you can absorb multiple 7.62 shots with a tank top)

if you wear no armor you should pretty much be killed with 1 or 2 bullets no matter what. but then again you would have maximum speed and agility.

and then theres a light armor class where you could absorb a couple 9mm subgun shots, but be killed by 1 rifle round. you would have SAS-like mobility

medium armor class will allow you to absorb a 5.56 to the chest with regen. but you are running at a noticeably slower pace.

heavy armor will allow you to absorb 2 7.62s to the chest, but you would have a pretty hindered running speed

Would be nice if you could have added something to do with the AI / AI spawning. i.e.

How much should Ubi devote to AI development from the game budget?

0.000001%
Or some substantial amount enough to pay a c++ guru to actually do the game justice...

Yeah, I [s]once[/s] had [s]an experience[/s] many experiences with the AI in Vegas 2 where I'll send my team out to fight a bunch of tangos (ASSAULT mode, NOT infiltrate) and they just walk PAST the tangos.

And then they crouch. And then they turn around and look at the tangos. Then they turn and look at me. And then they say "Tango spotted" but by that time, the tangos are blasting away at Jung. A second later, Jung is down and Michael is all like "YOU GOTTA DO SOMETHING!"

Uh, no, YOU have to do something, ubisoft.

  • Even for a flop on pc i got to admit that the vision of the artist(s) for Vegas is beyond speech. What i am seeing in game now is by far the best i have seen in any other game for realism. (coding) was the problem.
  • For a community that had potential to help YOU(UBI) they are the ones lurking in the shadows waiting for something better and you refuse to help. Even yourself.? This I don't understand.
  • Release some tools to the pc community for an over all better RaInbow 6 division.

    If you check the date of the last post before yours, you will see that nothing has been done in well over a year.

    Ubisoft abandoned this game and the gaming community long ago.

    Nothing will be fixed!
