i know they made it fun and real easy to edit<<
but.you do understand that sooner or l8ter..it's going to come out to were those will be banable offenses,,it's already bieng looked into..(if you edit your own ini) now if you get into a server and it is done by server configuration(by admin)then fine but even with pb on on my server ,,, some one came in and had like 15 or 18 clips and it did not ban or kick him.i only seen it on respawn when your looking thru the person that killed you in spec mode for 10 seconds.....

so i will say this any one that edits those ini files (accept to make server run better and not for more ammo or more frags may get you ban when and if they get real SADS and pb is able to stream a little better so be carefull) because if you look at it this way you can not go into your raven shield rainbow six ini folder or alter it Pb will kick or ban ..........

still no changes with the latest patch...no pb issues with my edits (server side only of course)

so if you want to personalize your server use these files since they are free and clear of any patch and pb issues

oh yeah - if anyone has any questions on these edits or anything constructive to add please do!

why da heck they are gonna used ur files? if they can do it in their own ini files, to edit those values, that and more, lol.

You have to edit the KellerWeaponsConfig. Look for the gun you want to edit and change the values

m_iNormalMagSize=500
m_iHighCapacityMagSize=600
m_iDefaultAmmunitionNormal=70000
m_iDefaultAmmunitionVeteran=70000
m_iDefaultAmmunitionElite=70000
m_iDefaultAmmunitionMP=180
m_iMaxAmmunitionNormal=70000
m_iMaxAmmunitionVeteran=70000
m_iMaxAmmunitionElite=70000
m_iMaxAmmunitionMP=450

you can also edit the values for SpreadperBullet. that increases accuracy. now we only need God-Mode its fun to play with almost unlimited ammo. you can reload a lot of times and the counter doesnt go down to zero so soon .

and theres more you can do in those INI files.
pff. easy weasy .

just remember back up that orig, files, never knows what could happen Smile.

Hi i istalled this and it wont work for me the 6 frag part for coop please let me know what I am missing when I exscart the files it says if I want to replace it and I say yes to all.

PLease help me out

Please can someone reply all help would be nice and What happens when I open the file and go to copy and paste it in it ask if I want to replace it and I say yes to all then fire up a sever I made and I cant get the 6 frags for coop story

The only problem with modifying the weapon parameters (especially the weapon specs -- not so much the magazine capacities) is that sometimes tangos use the same weapons. And if they get your modified weapon, then you will die just as quickly as they do.

So the best thing to do is just increase your mag capacity and maybe add the ability to carry a few more grenades.

I don't want to give the tangos uber weapons to use on me. Big Grin

I think it should be something you could carry. which a friend of mine was in the Army and said there's a tactical vest he would wear that was able to clip three frags on each side of the vest...not including the frags you could carry on a belt clip...something like 2 on each side. All in all...you could potentially carry 10 frags. But I think that's a little unrealistic since you'd be pretty limited on movement. I think 6 would be ideal with a tactical vest on. 2 just doesn't seem like you'd have much of a chance within the mission if you went in.

Hey guys, new poster to this forum.
I've been fiddlin around with the INI's and I honestly am kinda lost.

I've made the Hi-cap mags for pistols a little better, made them not fire once ever 10 seconds... and I'm trying to change the firemodes for other weapons (MG36 need's burst etc)
But I'm not having any luck making it work.

Anyone care to share their wisdom on this?

So what would the ini look like for the ak-47 in elite, if you wanted to increase rounds, accuracy and I noticed you can change the blind fire values. I played around with it but I kept having to change it back.

well im back playing R6V but having activation problems (D2D issues as usual...lol)

as soon as i get activated again ill help with .ini edits again...i would now but since i cant test ingame atm i wont be 100% sure on the modifications

just a reminder though if youre going to edit the files make sure you back-up the originals - just follow the READ ME.txt i have in the file

all the weapon atributes are there and easily modified...just play around with them untill you find something youre comfortable with

these eidts are server-side only and will not affect servers you join (you will use the .inis from the sever)
