FYI the latest patch (v1.05) did not affect the .INIs - if you adjusted them they were not affected
also i noticed no PB conflicts atm (hosting only - i dont join others when i host my own) ive been playing around with the .INIs and found i can edit my server to give us more frags and mags at start...those that play on it like having 7 mags and 6 frags at the start of the missions - also i took away the unlimited ammo for pistols - 4 mags now also played with the silencers and noticed when i added them to the glock, desert eagle, m40a1, and scout tactical they still loud and missing the texture with the silencer equiped - thought it was odd we could change it but they are not displayed...still gotta test these out i havent gone further to see if the tangos could still hear the default sound or a silenced sound though...but the damage modifier for the silencer equipted is there (.8 and .7) im still looking to get 6-8 player Co-Ops but no luck there im also still looking for getting all the gagets in Co-Op like gas, gps, and such...still cant find it (guessing its built into the core somewhere) Download the R6:V Co-Op Frag 'N Mag (with a backup for those that forget too...lol) remember PB may kick/ban for these edits when it goes live...its a server mod...i can join other servers with my edits but they are not effective...just if the host has them edited do other players get the extra equipment - i did not change the round count or weapon stats i may try high cap mags for the rifles now

i think the reason that u can't carry 6 frags be default is cuz nades will be over-used and ruin the balance.
i cant tell from experience but i think that what u did there will ruin the game. u can tell better than me if that happenes... |

ALL THE INFO ON THE SERVER YOU NEED
its co-op where the extra frags and mags do not make it an "I WIN" button...you dont have to worry much about having to run out of ammo - ive seen players die on purpose just to spawn fully loaded...this will almost eliminate that (kinda dumb in my view though) i did not edit anything for adversial though...if you know what to look for you can do that as well - i dont play it so i left it at default - i just edited the SP and Co-Op (they use the same variables) |

It is not a bannable offense if it is server side as I am pretty sure PB don't check to see if the server it is running on is hacking!
I know people who ran their Coop RVS server for quite some time with 50 smokes and 50 frags. They had it setup on Vegas with 3 frags and 3 incendiary for awhile because at the start, people didn't know spawn points and common cover-mode spots, so they didn't use them unless they KNEW someone was there. But, now we've noticed as people get to know the maps and locations better, the frags and incendiaries are getting thrown a bit more often at the beggining of a round in an attempt to get a few easy kills. So, this mod is great for Coop (in my opinion),but as for adversarial, it kinda gets old having a frag waiting on you when you open a door. |

I know 50 smokes and 50 frags may seem a bit much for RVS coop, but, when your also up against 120+ tango's on a single map set on elite setting, they come in quite handy.

yeah i know the Co-Op Story maps very well and usually get double the kills than the closest to me...im not bragging, i just know when and where to hit them to maximize kills and get through quick... there is a reason i only did it for Co-Op...imo it was needed more than adversial since Co-Op is a bit slower paced where players enjoy making a plan and working together to sucessfully complete it with no deaths - yeah i know adversial is the same but to me its not the same "feeling" if someone likes what they see they too can edit adversial equipment to their needs |

sry, i dont understand your problem now.
you can modify your ini files and get 99frags, change weapon settings, more power, lower spread... or WHAT YOU WANT. think kan make weapon - one shoot all fall down. these settings in ini work primary in SP game. second it will work in YOUR hosted game. these settings will NOT work on client game, on an connected game. if you are connect to an server you will always get settings from server ! so if server says (in THESE ini file) we have to get 99 frags, all will get 99 frags, and these is surely ok for PB. so questions ? |

yes you can changed the weapons power, range, accuracy and number of rounds and or frags...you can have 99 frags if you want...you can even make the frags kill radius bigger
it only works if you are hosting a server - everyone that joins your server will have the same load-out you have but if you join a server - you will only have what the server has later ill get the weapons re-configured to be more realistic - fix their round count in their magazines, range, accuracy, basically revamp the weapons stats - but ill need help this this since i dont know the difference between each weapon...it will take a lot of testing to get their characteristics correct |

Nice job... I don't need the extra mags and frags but I would love if you could figure out how to carry 2 guns and 1 handgun, like single player terrorist hunt. Just that one edit would be nice. I find shotguns really useful but they are situational, so to be able to carry an assault rifle and a shotgun would be great (and of course the handgun).

yeah im looking for this too but it looks like its hard coded where i cant get into it ATM - maybe if we get the Unedit then we can start making Co-Op Story actually follow the SP - textures, sounds, equiptment, and all |
