K here is the files I have in My Games -> Ubisoft -> R6Vegas2 -> : PlayerProfile, PROFILE1.DAT, PROFILE3.DAT, R6_EquipEquipmentTemplate, R6GameConfig.bin, R6Info .

Can someone explain to me each on of these files, what they are?
And which one is just the rank.

playerprofile.ini got cdkey
R6_EquipEquipmentTemplate your complete equip
profile 1.dat your offline profile
R6GameConfig.bin your key binding
R6_SaveCHECKPOINT obviously checkpoints and SP progress

profile2 and profile3 dat dont know, sure one of them is ranks and video/sound setting

If what you want is to backup your rank, just backup the whole folder. It's not that large, really and it contains both, your rank and settings.

You might want to do that every once in a while. You never know when something wrong might happen with your pc that forces you to do a clean reinstall and you sure don't want to start all over without your favorite weapons and cammo...
