Hey folks, I just have a quick poll.

The thing is, my friends and I have been playing this game since it came out around 2007.

And ever since the game first came out, we've noticed that there are a few servers that are always up but there are hardly any people that play.

Maybe it's just that we're never on at the right time when most people play, but I highly doubt that is the reason why.

So, I put this poll up to get some stats on how many people still play R6V2 "actively."

theres to much lag and the game has to muck bugs still after the 1.03 patch....thats sad...
so i prefer the lan play, or terrorist hunt by myself.....

Vegas 2 came out a little over a year ago in March 2008, I believe.
Maybe you are referring to Vegas 1 in 2007.

Anyway .. they are both nearly dead!!

i don't play online a whole lot, due to a total lack of active servers, but i do play terrorist hunts quite a bit still.

I only play Terrorist Hunt online, usually joining, or hosting if there's no low ping servers.

I dont ever play vs. mode, high ping servers and I dont like that sort of gameplay.

I have been playing R6V2 since i got it in Sept last year, non stop, very good fun!

Stopped playing shortly after completing the campaign as the multiplayer is completely broken... I could live with the crappy netcode, lack of servers and the countless issues this game has but that sound loop bug is just too annoying and i got it 9 out of 10 times i played online, so yeah...

I play just about every day. It is a good game but it does have its share of problems that need fixing.

I think its more popular with the european players I log on at midday sometimes and there are a lot of TDM servers. But trying to get a good ping in one of those is just about impossible.

Your best bet is to try to join one of the dedicated servers even if nobodys in it you can usually get one going if you stick with it. The dedicated servers have the best connections and everybody is on even ground (you dont have to deal with the terrible host advantage in this game.).

I think if UBI would fix some of the minor bugs and released a map editor the game would come to life again but that wont happen.

I still enjoy this game and I will always play Rainbow Six.

I still play the game, but the clan based gameplay was long gone after the first 3 months of release. Thus, why I want a new game.

We had 10 active members that played, until the fan pack ruin everything. Now only 2 play... RSV2 is a great game, if it would work properly.

Wow, so from the poll results and from the replies I'm seeing, nearly everyone has stopped playing online largely due to the bugs in the game...but thankfully there are a few good men that play terrorist hunt. It is a shame to see that the series has let us fans down...

My friends and I (we're a group of 8) would often joke around, saying "there's 10 people in the world that play R6V2, 8 of them being us." I can now see that this is partially true, because nobody plays anymore...

If anyone wants to do a clan war or something (a 4v4, 8v8, or something) please let me know where I can post the request. Once again, thanks everyone!

I'm glad to see that some people out there are up for a scrim on Vegas...
What kind of match exactly did you have in mind? 2v2, 3v3? I guess the best way to decide is to see when we both have all of our players available. As of right now, one of our more active players is having issues with his computer but from what I know everyone else is fine. When we both actually have everyone able to play, then I guess we can work out the match settings and all.

Also I took a look at your website...looks nice! You guys look hardcore, lol.

I play Vegas 2 nearly every day! I really enjoy the game.In my opinion,it's the best game still!
Yeah,it has faults but,still it's a great game.
It looks as if Ubisoft has no plans on fixing the bugs in the game.That's not going to make me stop playing it!

Yeah I still play and atleast 3 times a week sometimes more,Still a fun game thing that bothers me the most I would have to say is the M.G. Loop that will Drive you mad and can't hear the enemy coming at you, or right around the corner. Other than that I still enjoy it.
