Master server down, probably already for a while, reporting this at 1:20 am CEST.
Whoever thought that it could be a good idea, making all servers dependent on one master server that SUCKS BIG TIME, should be slain using 2m SCSI cables (RFC conforming). |

This is sort of an official thread started by Ms Kleaneasy about a year and a half ago to report problems with the Ubisoft Master server.
Ubisoft is aware of the problem .. It will just take a little time to fix!! (Like the rest of your life!!))  Since everyone is asked to report in server down issues in this thread, I thought it would be appropriate to bring it back!! Note: Do Not Make Any Changes To Your Computer Or Settings Until You Are Sure The Ubisoft Server Isn't Down Again!!! |

So after so long time they still haven't fixed the problem. I also get that problem when I try loging in on some servers but also when I'm playing I can get disconnected. Got 50/10 in cable so the ping is usually around 45-50. If they can't fix the problem. They will lose a buying costumer. |

I don't know that the issue is that Ubisoft can't fix the problem .. it may be that they just don't care and won't take the time to fix it.
I would assume they have someone with the proper knowledge to fix and keep an authentication server running. Or, at least provide backup servers. As you can see by this thread .. the problem has been around for at least a year and half, so it doesn't seem likely that Ubisoft is going to do anything about it!! |
