Have you updated to the 1.06 patch??
http://files.filefront.com/Rai...68098;/fileinfo.html There was better support for resolution starting with 1.05. 1.06 is the final patch and you will need it for online play anyway! If you can find anyone to play with!! You wil also need the map pack! http://browse.files.filefront....52;/browsefiles.html |

Vegas 1 doesn't have very good resolution support!
There is a wide screen patch if you can find it that may help with your problem. I know 1280x1024 isn't wide screen, but it may add what is needed to get the resolution you want. Try a search, or maybe someone here can lead you to it??!! Also make sure you have the latest drivers for you video card. Check the Nvidea or ATI sites! You don't mention your system specs. |

Hello,
I have a resolution problem. I playd Rainbow six Vegas 1 & 2 on high resolution. But my monitor broke down and now i am using an old 17 model. Unfortunatly the games seting are using high resolutions and the curent monitor does not support. So, now when i start the games i get a message about frecvency being out of range and the screen goes black. My curent monitor suports maximum 60 HZ and 1024X768. How can i change this? I have reinstaled the games but the problem it is the same, and i can not find the .ini file whitch allows me to change the resolution from outside the game. Please help. Sorry for my bad english, i am from Spain. Thank you in advance. |

If you have an HD TV, you could connect to it to lower your resolution.
I don't know anything about HD TV's in Spain, but most here have a VGA input, or if they don't, they have HDMI. You could use a DVI to HDMI converter to connect your PC to your TV. If you don't have those options, find a friend with a higher resolution monitor and connect long enough to lower your resolution. |
