I used to play RSV1 a lot for the multiplayer, which while buggy was still great. Unfortunately there are next to no people still playing, but I was wondering if there are other games with a MP experience similar to this one, with the enclosed sort of maps, where people still play on it?
Not ever having played Raven Shield I really can't compare it to anything. But if you are looking for a great first person shooter may I recommend Rainbow 6 Vegas 2. There are quite a few people playing in Terrorist Hunt and Versus. As for first person shooters it is the best I have played. There are bugs in the game but you just get used to them and go on. This is my sole opinion and not to be confused with the opinion of the internet community....lol. Good luck & good gaming.

Raven Shield is a good FPS still, and there's always over 100 people online except in the early morning hours. It's more tactical and realistic than vegas 1 though.
By the way, if you ever want a game of vegas 1, every other night or so SCE is on the vegas 1 server in force. It's not completely dead yet.
If you want to a decent MP that runs great .. try COD WaW (5). Just checked and there are 513 servers and hundreds of players.
Plus there is a good co-op mode with little to no lag and a co-op Zombie mod with lots of user maps if you like a little arcade style play for a change.

My clan played nothing but Ravenshield until COD4 came out. We have been playing that in Hardcore mode and it as as close as we can get to the Ravenshield experience.
We tried Vegas 1 for a month, but tossed it because of the lack of a map editor, bugs, unrealistic 3rd person view, health regen, aim assist, and how it just wasn't as tactical as Ravenshield in any way.
We may try COD WaW someday but have been avoiding it because of issues with not being able to download custom maps from another server like you can with COD4.
yeh i too have vegas 1 installed,and have applied a few mods of the nades ect,but as previously said not many people online,they should put some more maps out of this game into vegas 2,i miss the wartown map and bordertown plus a few others too,Cod 4 the prob with that game was the streamed cheats(aimbots ect) the just killed the fun in it for me,as Punkbuster was useless a complete waist of time,also it never had a co-op mode
