I have located our 1.03 Stand Alone Dedicated Server hotfix which corrects a server crash that is very common.

This was a much harder fix to do then our highstakes fix which was mainly just a hexedit.

It was even more painful then the custom camo crash fix we released because we had to first figure out what was causing the crash then create and introduce a brand new .uppc file into the game to correct the issue.

Any admins that want the fix message me and I'll email it to you immediately.

I should have it available on our website later this week otherwise.

* Multihoming IP support

* UBI Lobby auto server recovery

It would be great if someone could figure out a way to make the high stakes fix include a way to force each team to a specific contrasting camo color and remove the coins floating over people's heads.

Why UBI Montreal decided to leave off this option we will never know.

Because they were either too lazy to do it in porting the game, or because they were given too strict of a timeframe to port it by the suits.

Porting shouldn't have mattered. It should have been in both the console and PC version of the game to begin with.

There is absolutely no way the Devs can justify a Tom Clancy team game that has everyone on the Special Ops squad wearing different colored uniforms. Perhaps they would have different levels of armor depending on their role, but NEVER EVER would they wear different colors.

I will see what I can do about this guys.


I have the Ranking Leaderboard halfway figured out myself.

I just can't figure out how to get the variable to remain on map change and how to start with a minimum number of 2 players.

Right now when someone joins it just stays at the status screen. I think 4 people or more have to be in the server for the briefing countdown to begin.



If I can get the attention of the programmer for the 1.03 crash fix on it it will be a reality. Unfortunately he's been extremely busy lately with a real paying job.

If anyone else is a dev out there and wants to help let me know. I will donate a server or two for testing!

Just want to say thanks for the support. It's nice to see some hope left to R6V2. Been here since the release and its been a rollercoaster ride with "ubisoft patches." I wish I can use 1.02 patch but than noone else would be able to play. Don't know where 1.03 went wrong because the gameplay isnt smooth like it use to with 1.03, meaning more lag. I'll be checking from time to time. Thanks again.

If you could get HS1 updating the leaderboards, that server would be busy around the clock, no doubt.

Great work on all your existing fixes, by the way. You and your crew seem to be quite adept reverse engineers. I assume you're writing most of the fixes in assembler, or do you have source access?

He's doing it all in assembler I believe.

No access to the source code although one of our guys is very fluent in Unreal Engine.

Unfortunately he's been working a real job lately and there hasn't been much progress on new hotfixes atm.
