Think I have figured it out.In your cmos set your memory timings to auto.It seems to have fixed my problem....Dont know why though...

i sort of figured it out. I tested it with a bunch of different profiles.

it only happens with SP.. mostly right, so just make a backup copy of your profile, then go and delete it and enter the game and start a new profile, i bet it won't give you that "General Protection Fault".

it seems to work with me... and if it works for you, then don't ask how or why, cause i've been trying to figure that out myself, because the profiles that it is doing that with, i have been using since ever, and i used it not 3 months ago. so :s confusing.

I get 'general protection fault history' error as well.

But i don't get it when the game starts, it is usually after a good 2-3 hours of play.

I've had the same error in vista home premium and windows 7 rc.

Every time I host a T-Hunt I get this error after about 20-30 minutes of playing. I give up on this game. Time to uninstall.

Sorry to bring this topic back up, but me and a friend just bought the game to play online, and it appears I've got the same problem
Any news on how to fix this problem yet?

I ended up fixing it by going out and getting an xbox and playing it there.

I would still like to know how to fix it since I have 2 copies for the computer.
