Nope, that looks like an entirely different story.

Well, I get flickering bright spots too.. Like in murdertown when you go upstairs and take a left and look down the alley the wall on the right.... it's bright and it flickers like crazy... I have these crazy things in addition to flickering.... I redownloaded the game last night and it still does it.... I've reverted to nvidia driver 178.24 and it still did it. I updated to nvidia 180.22 released 2 days ago and it still does it....... this is gay... I'd be happy with just flickering shadows or bright spots... I cant even play "streets" because its EVERYWHERE. I really am unhappy with this..... Also, why do I have to disable SLI for the game to have proper FPS? If i don't tell nvidia to run single-gpu mode for rb6v2 it becomes extremely choppy... wtf? i have dual 8880 GTS's with 640 megs of ram each..... i know they're not the newest but..... wtf? i can play crysis....

Mikey mike... that looks like your graphics card is dying... Or not getting enough power...

As for all you people having problems with the 181.20 drivers, nvidia have updated them to 181.22 now... So give them a whirl...

Cheers Muffun Too Happy

It's definitely getting enough power. I have TWO 8800 GTS 640's and my power supply is an ANTEC QUATTRO 850. (http://www.antec.com/usa/productDetails.php?lan=us&id=27850)

I have to set rainbow six vegas 2 to use only 1 card instead of 2. It gets super choppy if i don't.... whats up with that?

Easy, easy, people...calm down. I'm sure now they (Nvidia) got our attention, through my support ticket, they'll solve it with the next driver version.

Welp guys, I finally fixed the problem for me. I disabled one of my video cards (I am running dual 8800 GTS 640mb's in SLI) and the CRAZY wall stuff went away. If you guys recall, I posted 8 screenshots of my problems earlier in the thread.

Well if anyone else is having that problem disable one of your cards in Start> Settings> Control Panel> System> Device Manager> Video Adapters> Right click the 2nd one and click DISABLE.

This requires a reboot. When I did this however my windows started back up in 640x480 4-bit color mode. I just reinstalled the 180.22 drivers and rebooted and I have my normal desktop back (1600x1200 highest color mode).

Well after testing 178.24, 180.48, 180.84, 181.00, 181.20, and 181.22 only 178.24 did not cause the flickering where the sunlight hits the buildings. But i've also found out that if you don't update the game stay at v1.0 you can use any of the drivers, so something they "fixed" in v1.01-v1.03 causes the flickering problems with any of the 180 drivers.
