ck.lau

You just have a way with words. To bad no one in here knows what they mean.

If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.

Hi CK.LAU:

The same problem happened to me. The game wouldn't let me log in to multiplayer at all, and like you I also had a genuine copy of the game. Fact is: Ubisoft servers are terrible.

Sorry that I couldn't reply back in Chinese -- my grasp of the Chinese language is waning and I can only read it now, but can't write in it anymore.

  • Even for a flop on pc i got to admit that the vision of the artist(s) for Vegas is beyond speech. What i am seeing in game now is by far the best i have seen in any other game for realism. (coding) was the problem.
  • For a community that had potential to help YOU(UBI) they are the ones lurking in the shadows waiting for something better and you refuse to help. Even yourself.? This I don't understand.
  • Release some tools to the pc community for an over all better RaInbow 6 division.

    Hi ck.lau,

In order for anyone to help you with any problems you might have, I would suggest posting in English. This would enable us to see what problems you have, and then try and get them resolved.

Are you employed by Ubisoft or self appointed?

If you are truly an Ubisoft employee, (Which I seriously doubt) you would be the first to ever offer support in these forums.

If you are not an employee, your label of "Ubisoft Technical Support" is very misleading!
(2 posts to date?? Where did you come from?)

Sorry everyone I am having a hard time believing that after all this time there is (as per mrs-kleaneasy) someone showing an interest in what is going on in here. The only thing I can figure is there must be a new release around the corner shorty , and it is time to round up the herd with the open wallets to buy the new game. UBI has a lot of proving them selves before I will dig out another 50 bucks.

So kpnuts77 you are ligit as kleaneasy states show us something to amaze us. My post 3rd from the top says about the same thing and I posted it for free. Now why don't you check out some of the problems we have be complaining about for ever and try to resolve a couple of them. I look forward to a room full of Techs trying to really resolve problems.

    Thanks Ms Kleaneasy!
It was just hard to believe that Ubisoft would actually send someone to help with game problems.
Why didn't Ubisoft bring someone in over a year ago when there were so many problems and the game was still alive and salvable?

Anyway, kpnuts won't have much to do except for the occassional new player who inadvertantly buys this game in a bargin bin and can't get it to work .. or the more common problem with DRM preventing DVD drives from reading the disk.

kpnuts, maybe you can get the copy protection removed like Ubisoft did for Far Cry 2 , Hawx (I believe it was) and a few other games that were having the same problem.

    Anyway ..welcome aboard kpnuts!!
    Better late than never!! Smile

Lethal, Ubi tech staff have been on the forums for a while, they've been on all the game forums, Ubi_Warder has been active in the Rainbow Six Tech Support - Self Help forum for some time.

Lethal as BTOG said support have been around, although more recently the numbers increased.

However that said they're not working specific to any single game forum but the forums as a whole and their main focus will continue to be the support centre where all problems should first be directed (in saying that I realise most here already did that)

@ StrykerN - you won’t see a stream of past problems addressed it’s simply not feasible. There is only so much time they can dedicate to the boards and it’s logical to address those problems being raised than start answering old ones with no idea the problem still exists or the posting members even viewing the board.

Funny that, as most of the past problems are still problems for everyone that plays... I just re-installed RSV today, logged in, created my character, then guess what happened... The Ubi login server has crashed again... After all this time you're still stopping people who (like me) were stupid enough to buy the game, from playing it...

Scratch that, they were only off line for a few minutes. Is it going to be one of them weekends again?

If Ubi can fix anything, fix your own servers so we can at least play...

I was hoping for a better responce than the one you gave mrs-kleaneasy. The same problems continue to ruin the game for everyone from the past up to the current time. The only thing that is different is many of us paid $50.00 for the broken game that now can be grabbed for less than $10.00 in a bargin full of low class games. The same questions keep popping up over and over, when is UBI going to make an attempt to fix the game?

Seems like the higher ups would get the hint at one point or another. Funny to go to the local store where computer games are sold and see the latest two C.O.D. games setting proudly on the shelves at full retail value and find Vegas and other UBI games in the grab bin.

I could go on and on but it is all repeditive anyway so I will wrap it up. Just please try to save faec mrs-cleaneasy and not spew the same old worn out line "HELP IS ON THE WAY". Anyone that has been here for a while knows the same old problems will continue no matter how much we discuss it. By the looks of things the forum is going the way of the game (nowhere).

If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.
