I have a friend who purchased the game from Ubisoft store, and downloaded the game using the download manager. When he installs the game and runs it, it comes up with a window with just an activate button. He clicks on it, but it takes him to a screen to buy the game.
Is there a place he can go an manually enter the activation code? We tried following any and all steps to make sure the cookie was downloaded, that IE has the settings needed etc, but under no circumstances can he run the game.
Needless to say, he is massively peeved over this.

I am not familiar with the Ubisoft store, but it would seem there should be an option on that site to contact someone who could help with your problem.

Has your friend tried clicking on the buy option to see if maybe it provides an option to enter his code there?

If you purchased with a credit card, you have the option to place the purchase in dispute by calling your card company, since you never received the product you purchased.
