As many of you have seen, there was a BIA hell's highway trailer. Now there is a Call of Duty 3 trailer. They both look great so i'm buying both. here is the trailer for Call of Duty 3. Call of Duty 3 This will be for all next gen. consoles. It comes out in fall 2006

The video was bad. First off, it used pre-rendered footage, which not only means that the trailer just showed a movie, and not a preview for their game. Second, the fact that it was rendered probably lends itself to the fact that the game is hardly done, and with a Fall release, the game is going to either be A. A bad game, devoid of research and is just another WWII gun and run. B) A sad contender that makes people crave a real WWII game even more (HH). C) A 'too soon' released launch title that kills the PS3 (which is coming out in fall by the way) D) A rushed WWII game that the developers hope enough loyal and duped fans will buy more than BIA:HH because of COD2, yet the game will be overrushed and will dive in sales (i.e. Brute Force). or E) The developers will postpone it and come to their senses to work on it more. Any of these means losses for COD3, except for 'E'.

what was with thaat tank? the mg's on that thing would have killed him like that *snaps*. and who runs that fast carrying 50-100 lbs. of equipment, my advice dont buy it, they both come out in the fall, so buy Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway

I'm sick of all you Brothers in Arms fan boys. Sure they are great games, but Call of Duty is the number one WW2 franchise. CoD3 will be a great game despite what you think.

Says who? MAny MAgazines have said that BIA is the highest-rated WWII franchise, so how could COD be #1. Maybe it's something called OPINION!!!!!!!! Maybe I'll like COD3, and maybe I won't, but to see how the COD fanboys react to threats (i.e. BIA fans), I don't know how I could ever like COD (note that I did like COD2 before I played it on veteran and it got cheesy).

Wow. That trailer has got to be the cheesiest, most over-romanticized depiction of war I have ever seen. Who the hell would run straight at a tank after seeing his buddy get shot like that? Nothing like that would ever happen in a real war. When tanks show up, infantrymen run like hell. They don't act like a hero and try to charge the tank with nothing but a Thompson and their egos. But I guess that's what CoD is. Being a hero and single-handedly taking out German batallions like you're some kind of ballsy Superman. The sad part is that popular games like this lead many people to believe that this is what war is really like. And when those people join the Army and go to war, they get their guts blown out while trying to recreate a stunt they saw at E3.
both looks like great games, which both offers different type of gameplay. untill we all get our little hands on it, there is no need to pre-judge either one of the game...

seriously, why fight back voltesfive just proved all our points. Cod fans only care about shooting things... I love when other people do all the work for me
First, I'll Buy Brothers in arms because COD 3 wont even get near BIA 3 I guess. BIA 3 is Q 2007 and has been worked on for 1 year at least. COD 3 is Q 2006 and has been worked on for 6 months by then...
Second, I don't like COD's gameplay. I like tactics and respect to what happened.

COD MP is fun sometimes....but i wouldn't consider it a WW2 game you just go around shooting people w/ WW2 weapons
