I've been searching for ways to get this game to work for the last 4 days. Ubisoft's customer service just keeps tellin me to install the latest patch(which I have done(which also doesnt help the problem)).
I'm sure you all have read this many times. I try to start the game with the disc in the drive and it give me the "insert original disc" crap. Then I have tried to start it without the disc and it takes me to the thing for online activation so I enter my cd key thinking yay I might finally be able to play this game but HAHAHA UBISOFT GOT ME AGAIN!! I either get the "invalid serial" or connection terminated by remote host. When I get the latter message I try to do the manual activation by following the link, which takes me to a page that has the button "get activation key" so I click it and then it takes me to a blank page..HAHAHA UBISOFT got me again. Stupid me for thinking when I legally buy a game it should work with out problems. Kind of ironic how anti-piracy software keeps people that legally buy a copy of the game from playing it.
anyway anyone know how to get this game to work better than
Jason "You will need to download and install the patches for this game from our website at http://support.ubi.com in the game patches section to resolve this problem."
which is how he responded to both questions so far... is jason the only support guy they have??
