Me and my friend are trying to play over LAN via Hamachi Settlers 3 gold. But when I create a game he sees the game, and when he joins he sees the races, but nothing more neither can he click on the races. He cant do anything. Neither do I see him in the game.
We have searched on the internet but couldnt find anything and most other fansites are offline.
We hope some people can help here. I for one does not believe it doesnt work because the game is to "old". Settlers 3 is timeless
I hate to be discouraging, but I don't think you will ever get this game to run well. I managed to get a two-player co-op game running over a LAN, but after a few hours it became obvious that our games were completely out of sync - this without any warning or error message from the engine.
I have managed many LAN games of Settlers3 but never tried to play over Hamachi,why not just normal LAN over 2 PC`s why do you need a 3rd party program to run it?
