Hi

I have install S6 rise of an empire gold edition
And the game starts OK, and I play the game
I save the game, and closed down the computer,
But when I will play S6, and starts s6 up,
I get an error:
File "base\bba\lngensnd0.bba" invalid
I then unstall Settlers, and install it again, and it starts OK again.
But again after a break it come up with the error again, What can be wrong

I have try to update to 1.7, but the version I have is newer than the update

My PC is:
Win 7
2.0 GHz CPU
2 GB ram
Nvidia Geforce 7300 GS

Now I have install "The Eastern Realm expansion" and copy the file to Base directory, and now it starts up

Well It dident work.
Here yester day my wife try to play S6 ROAE
and got this error again File "base\bba\lngensnd0.bba" invalid

Can it be a bug in the software or a hardware relate ?

We can play "The Eastern Realm expansion" with out any error for now.

The message you get when you try to update to the latest patch often happens with the Gold version.

The way to solve it is to delete the S6Patch.ini in both Program Files\Ubisoft\THE SETTLERS - Rise of an Empire\base\bin, and Program Files\Ubisoft\THE SETTLERS - Rise of an Empire\extra1\bin.

Then, manually download and install Patch 1,71 which removes the Tages DRM, and allows play without the discs being needed.
