Hi I'm having trouble getting my serial number from the back of the booklet in my settlers 3 game booklet to be accepted. I have updated with the patch for windows vista, then when I type in the code (with the dashes) I get the following error message:
Windows error#80070005(Access is denied.) occurred at error check, file E:\Siedler3\Win32\Registry.cpp, line 48.
Any ideas how I can sort this prob?

You need to run the game as Administrator;

Right click the shortcut on your Desktop "Run As... Administrator"

Or, hold shift and right click your S3 Shortcut and it should give you the option to run as Administrator.
